Robert
B. Schneider*
Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer
Research Laboratories, Inc.
Mr.
Schneider is Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Research
Laboratories, Incorporated (RLI) headquartered in Minneapolis,
MN. RLI is focused on providing a full range of consulting
services including research and development of new RFID
hardware products, software solutions and application-specific
products for a diverse
client base. Mr. Schneider began his career as an RF technician
and network consultant in 1995. In
2003 he started Indoor
Wireless Systems in San Diego, CA. Indoor Wireless
began as a provider of wireless network technology solutions
for Healthcare
and
Educational
institutions. Specializing in proprietary software application
consulting since 2005, Mr. Schneider assumed the position
of CEO and
chairman of the board in 2008. He brings
over 20 years of business experience in a range of diverse
industries
such as network systems integration, aerospace,
international banking, fraud and identity
solutions and medical device manufacturing. Mr. Schneider
holds
a B.A. from
the University
of California, San
Diego
in pre-law interdisciplinary studies and
is
an active
member
of
the United States ISO/IEC
Joint Technical Committee for Information Technology
- Software and
System Engineering (ISO), The Experimental Aircraft Association
(EAA), The American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics
(AIAA) and the National Space Society (NSS).
Sally
J. Melony*
Director
and Interim Chief Financial Officer
Ms.
Melony comes to RLI with several decades of financial management
and accounting
experience. Instrumental
in
founding and development
of local insurance agency RAS Inc.,
she has managed the ongoing business operations at
RAS throughout their
30 year history. Ms. Melony holds a B. A. from
Hamline University in Saint Paul, Minnesota.
Franck
E. Caponera
Consulting
Director of Software Development
Mr.
Caponera is a Senior Software Architect with over 21 years
of experience in enterprise architecture integration. Working
in a distributed server environment, and managing systems
with multiple legacy data sources, Mr. Caponera has a proven
track record as a leader in the field of system architecture
and design. Mr. Caponera’s most recent engagement includes
decision analytics application development for consumer
identity authentication, anti-money laundering and scoring
solutions. His prior engagements included IBM Global Services
and Red Sky, and he has provided consulting services to
multiple industry verticals including real estate, manufacturing,
retail, technology, banking and financial services. His
industry experience includes application design and development
proficiency in C, C++, C#, .NET framework and J2EE (Java).
Mr. Caponera holds a B.S. in Information and Computer Science
from the University of California, Irvine.
Elissa
Ritt
Consulting
Director of Operations
With
over 13 years of Biotech industry experience, Ms. Ritt’s
positions include positions with Warner-Chilcott, Novartis
Pharmaceuticals and most recently Talecris Biotheraputics.
Currently pursuing a Master's Degree in Clinical Research,
and recognized by peers and industry leaders alike, Ms.
Ritt brings a wealth of biotech experience to the Board
at Research Laboratories, Inc. Ms. Ritt holds a B.S. in
Zoological Biology with an emphasis on genetics from Miami
University in Oxford, OH, and is board member of the J.
Moss foundation, and the Skinny Gene project which is a
Diabetes prevention initiative.
